Since high school. We at the graduation dance. (meet)
Interviewer:
After high school you decided to make show business your career. I imagine it difficult during the first few years. (be)
Joanne:
Very difficult. It's not easy to break into show business. It's a real jungle. We were lucky however. We played in an off-Broadway show and the public
we were very good. Producers began to notice us. (think)
Interviewer:
I remember that show. It was a big hit. It eventually moved to Broadway where it's still going strong. But you only with the show for a couple of years. Why was that? (stay)
Joanne:
That was when we met Bill Kaparov, who became our agent. He our agent ever since and has worked hard for us.
(be)
Interviewer:
He was the one who encouraged you to become movie stars. You in Hollywood for five years. Why did you leave?
(work)
Joanne:
We
in love. We always played lovers in the movies, but in real life we were just friends. All that changed, however, and now we are married.
(fall)
Interviewer:
So you moved back to your home town, Ottawa. You back in Canada now for three years. Has it been difficult to adapt.
(be)
Jack:
Not at all. As you can see, we are still working at out chosen profession. In fact, we shows all over North America since we moved back, so our life isn't exactly unexciting. We like moving around from city to city.
(give)
Interviewer:
But you down a lot since the birth of your son last year.
(slow)
Joanne:
Of course. It is not easy being absent parents. For a few months after his birth we very seriously about giving up showbusiness, but we came to the conclusion that we can be good parents and still continue with our career.
(think)
Interviewer:
I suppose it has been a long while since you last your son.
(see)
Joanne:
It
three weeks exactly, but we're flying back to Ottawa next Monday.
(be)
Interviewer:

Jack:
Don't worry. We'll make the time. It's a very beautiful city.
